Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled the new Maybach GLS 600 Night Series at the Auto Expo 2025, with a starting price of Rs 3.71 crore. This new variant, positioned at the top of the Maybach GLS range, features purely cosmetic upgrades costing around Rs 25 lakh more than the current model. The Night Series variant of the Maybach EQS 680 SUV was also launched at the event.
With Mojave Silver on the top half of the SUV and Onyx Black on the bottom, the Maybach GLS 600 Night Series has the brand's signature two-tone paint job. The front grille panel and headlamps have rose gold accents, and a large portion of the external fixtures are blacked out to match the concept. The SUV also has 22-inch all-black Maybach-spec wheels, which are nearly identical to those on the Maybach EQS 680 SUV Night Series.
The Maybach GLS 600 Night Series sees no mechanical changes, and therefore comes equipped with the same 550hp, 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine which does duty in the standard Maybach GLS 600. The motor is assisted by a 48V mild-hybrid setup which provides a 250Nm boost for a total output of 770Nm of torque. Coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels, the SUV can dispatch the 0-100kph run in 4.9 seconds.
The Maybach GLS 600 Night Series's interior continues the exterior's blacked-out design. The all-digital instrument cluster also features a unique Night Series animation, and the seats are covered in custom Nappa leather with aluminum and wood accents. The Maybach GLS 600 top-spec model, which includes luxuries such a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 27-speaker sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, and more, has the same equipment list and general cabin layout as the SUV.
